The Gray Notebook is our agency's quarterly performance and accountability report. Each edition features quarterly, semi-annual and annual updates on key agency functions and provides in-depth analysis of topics that align with Washington's transportation goals as well as our strategic plan.

The latest Gray Notebook (PDF 4.7MB) for the quarter ending March 31, 2022 features annual articles on Worker Safety, Amtrak Cascades, Wetlands Protection, Wildlife Habitat Connectivity and Commercial Vehicle Services. WSDOT's Statewide Transportation Policy Goals (PDF 3.8MB) is an overview of the key performance indicators for five of the six transportation policy goals. It shows the current and previous performance mark for each measure, and indicates which way the program is trending.
